Senantor Ben Sasse appears likely to become the next president of the University of Florida 

Sasse, age 50, is serving his second term in the U. S. Senate.he is expected to resign his seat in the coming days.

Ben sasse has a track record of leadership spanning higher education, government and the private sector 

Sasse earned his bachelor's degree in government from Harvard University, a Master of Arts in liberal studies from St. John's College and master's and doctoral degrees in American history from Yale University 

Sasse served for five years as the president of Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. 

Florida's  board, staff, and graduates are specially qualified to guide the nation through a period of disruption.

Sasse has been interested in an academic job for quite some time, so he might resign as senate for the Florida University

Sasse said he wouldn’t attack the credibility of the court and wished “more of my colleagues would take a similar approach.”
