Lindsay Lohan recently told Bustle that she doesn’t feel pressured to quickly regain her pre-baby body after giving birth. She believes that things always come full circle, and this phase of her life will pass. Despite the pressure to be thin, she’s not worried about bouncing back to her old body.
Lohan welcomed her son, Luai, with her husband, Bader Shammas, in July 2023. She feels so attached to her son that working out is the last thing on her mind. She thinks women look beautiful after giving birth and shouldn’t rush to look ‘good’ again.
In another interview with People, Lohan shared that she spends most of her time with her son, who loves being outside and taking walks. However, he has a habit of pulling her hair, even causing bald spots.
Lohan isn’t the only celebrity discussing post-baby body issues. Blake Lively, who has four kids with Ryan Reynolds, has also talked about the pressure women feel to get back in shape quickly. She needed a lot of help to get in shape for a movie after having her first daughter.
Keke Palmer, who has a son with her ex Darius Jackson, mentioned that she used to be conscious about her appearance but learned to be kinder to herself after giving birth. Her trainer emphasized embracing her new body instead of trying to get back to her pre-baby shape.
In August, just a month after giving birth, Lindsay Lohan proudly showed off her post-baby body on Instagram. She expressed pride in what her body had achieved during pregnancy and in recovery. Lohan also made a reference to Mean Girls, saying, “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
Since her son’s birth, Lohan has been cautious about sharing too much of him online. However, she has been open about how much she loves being a mother. She told Bustle that motherhood has brought a whole new kind of love she never thought possible.
